Shipping and ReturnsProcessing of Orders
We usually process orders within 48 hours for most in stock items. Should an item become temporarily back ordered, you will be notified by email within 24 hours of placing your order. When your order is completed, you will receive another email confirming that your orders have been shipped.
We offer the following types of shipping service; Canada Post and Purolator Courier (UPS going to the USA)
2-3 Express Service. This service goes by Purolator Courier (overnight) or Xpresspost 2-3 days service. Depending on your location. This will include your $100 parcel insurance and a tracking #.
Ground service with no tracking takes up to 12 business days. The parcels will usually go by Postal Service Delivery.
Canada Post Small Packet Air Mail does not offer any tracking confirmation #, but shipping time to the USA is usually around 7 working days and to Canada is around 4-7 business days.
Ground Service with tracking or Expediated Parcel is a ground service that will give you a tracking # and delivery confirmation. Shipping takes up to 12 business days to arrive. It is our slowest service because it goes by ground but will give you tracking.
Returns, Exchange and Refund Policies
For hygienic reasons, we cannot accept exchanges or refunds for cosmetics or skin care items, except for the following reasons:
Products being returned to us must be unopened and unused for exchanges for wrong products sent. You must return the products back to us before the replacement will be shipped out to you.
We try to ensure the items are packed well to arrive in the same condition as it left us. In the event that the product is damaged or broken upon arrival, please save the packaging and take pictures as proof and send to us by email. Please contact us within 3 days of receiving your order if it is damaged.
Canceling Your Order
If you wish to cancel your order, please do so within 1 hour of placing your order. Once the order is shipped, we will not be able to cancel the order.
Taxes and Duties

Orders originating from outside of BC will be not be charged sales tax.

Residence of British Columbia will be subject to 12% HST sales tax.

Orders from outside of Canada and shipped to a non Canadian address will not be subject to any tax.

Parcels coming into USA may be subjected to duties and taxes. Customers will be responsible to pay for any United States duties, taxes and customs clearance fees that may be subject to the items coming into the USA.
Lost and Unclaimed Parcels
Please allow 45 days from the date of shipping to claim any lost orders send by Small Packet Air Mail. Canada Post requires a minimum of 45 days after shipping date to open any lost claims using this service.
For Xpresspost, please allow 2 weeks from the date of mailing to report a lost parcel.
Red Ginger Cosmetics will not be responsble or compensate for lost orders due to wrong addresses provided by customers. Please make sure that the shipping address provided to us is correct.
No refunds will be given for parcels returned back to Red Ginger Cosmetics for customers who did not pick up, claimed or not accepted at their parcels at their postal office. Customers will be responsible for paying for the shipping charges to have the parcel ship out again.
